Journaling A Tree
Look at a tree. What shape is it? Draw that shape.
Do you know what kind of tree it is? If so, write it down. Otherwise it’s a question to write down!
What do you notice about the tree? Are there any birds in it? Any insects? Does it have moss?
Are any parts of it dead? Damaged?
Draw the trunk. Add branches, noticing what direction they go.
Add appropriate foliage. (It doesn’t need to be detailed! Blocks of color are fine.)
