Journaling clouds:

  1. Notice the clouds. Observe how they change. Write down your observations.

  2. What shape are the clouds? Draw that shape.

  3. What colors do you see in the clouds?

  4. Notice the weather. Describe it. Write questions about what you are seeing.

  5. Draw a horizontal line representing the bottom of a cumulus cloud.

  6. Paint curved lines that rise above the bottom line and blend water to soften color.

  7. Repeat, adding clouds that get smaller and fainter as they recede into the distance.
